I'm 49 as of this entry, and my biographical info is so bloody complex I doubt I could get it all in here, so I'm averse to trying. I'm working on a novel by fits and starts, but every time I get close to finishing it the real world intrudes or somebody else publishes something so similar that what I'm doing looks like a ripoff. (Example: I originally had my fictional terrorists hail from Libya, and they launched WW3 by flying a plane containing a low-yield nuclear warhead into the side of the Empire State Building. I laid all this out in late 1999. Then in September two years later, I turn on the TV to find that a bunch of Saudis did the same thing to a different building. It's horrid enough that they killed all those people, but they screwed up my book, too...)

In my life I've worked in radio, television, been a custom knifemaker, bicycle mechanic, cook, warehouseman, computer tech, and now I wash dishes in a bar. I've worked for companies as diverse as TVA, Dell, and Temco H&M Tractor Parts. And now I work for the Alley Cat Lounge.
